Wednesday's game between the Cleveland Indians and host Minnesota Twins was rained out at Target Field.

The game will be made up as part of a day-night doubleheader on June 17.

The teams will conclude their scheduled four-game series on Thursday, with Cleveland right-hander Trevor Bauer (0-2, 8.44) being pushed back a day to start the contest. Minnesota rookie left-hander Adalberto Mejia (0-1, 4.05) will be skipped in favor of Ervin Santana (3-0, 0.41) to keep the right-hander on normal rest.

Cleveland won the first two games of the series by a 14-5 margin, with Edwin Encarnacion collecting a total of two hits and four RBIs.
