Half of the NBA’s 82-game regular season is in the books. The straight-up results have been positive for home favorites, but the best betting trends at Intertops online sportsbook against the spread still lean slightly towards underdogs playing at home.

Home Teams Overall: 393-251 SU, 348-292-4 ATS
Favorites Overall: 424-220 SU, 322-318-4 ATS

Most NBA Power Rankings only take a team’s performance on the court into consideration. However, this list also looks at each one’s recent performance covering the spread. Two other factors are recent winning streaks on the NBA total line along with Intertops’ most recent NBA futures odds to win the 2019 World Championship.

1. Golden State Warriors

Odds: -189
Record: 29-14 SU, 18-25 ATS
Previous Rank: 1

The Warriors continue to hang tight at the top of the list despite only having the fourth-best SU record in the league. They earned some bonus points this week for the total going OVER in five of their last six games.

2. Toronto Raptors

Odds: +700
Record: 33-12 SU, 19-25-1 ATS
Previous Rank: 2

Toronto should probably be ranked 1B given its current five-game winning streak SU, but it did fail to cover in wins against Atlanta at home and Washington on the road.

3. Milwaukee Bucks

Odds: +1600
Record: 30-12 SU, 24-16-2 ATS
Previous Rank: 3

An SU road loss to Washington as slight favorites put some downward pressure of the Bucks this week, but this followed an impressive road win against Houston last Wednesday.

4. Denver Nuggets

Odds: +3300
Record: 29-13 SU, 23-19 ATS
Previous Rank: 4

The Nuggets could have dropped in the rankings because of Saturday’s loss to Phoenix on the road, but they quickly rebounded with Sunday’s win at home against Portland.

5. Indiana Pacers

Odds: +6600
Record: 28-14 SU, 21-20-1 ATS
Previous Rank: 7

The Pacers are third in the East behind Toronto and Milwaukee after winning eight of their last 10 games overall. They do lose some points for a 1-5 record ATS in their last six contests.

6. Houston Rockets

Odds: +1000
Record: 24-18 SU, 21-20-1 ATS
Previous Rank: 5

Houston slipped to 2-3 both SU and ATS with Sunday’s stunning road loss to Orlando as a 5.5-point road favorite. The other losses were to Portland on the road and Milwaukee at home.

7. Oklahoma City Thunder

Odds: +2200
Record: 26-16 SU, 23-19 ATS
Previous Rank: 6

The Thunder snapped a three-game skid both SU and ATS with Saturday’s big 122-112 victory against San Antonio as six-point home favorites.

8. San Antonio Spurs

Odds: +5000
Record: 25-19 SU, 26-16 ATS
Previous Rank: 10

The Spurs lost two of their last three games (SU and ATS), including the backend of a home-and-home series against Oklahoma. However, they are still 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games.

9. Philadelphia 76ers

Odds: +1600
Record: 28-16 SU, 20-24 ATS
Previous Rank: 8

Back-to-back losses to Washington on the road and Atlanta at home did not help the cause along with a 1-4 record ATS in Philadelphia’s last five games.

10. Boston Celtics

Odds: +900
Record: 25-17 SU, 22-20 ATS
Previous Rank: 9

Boston closed out the week with back-to-back losses to Miami and Orlando as a road favorite in each game. This snapped a four-game winning streak both SU and ATS.

11. Portland Trail Blazers

Odds: +6000
Record: 26-18 SU, 23-21 ATS

Portland’s loss to Denver snapped an SU four-game winning streak. However, covering as a 4.5-point road underdog in that game raised its record to 4-1 ATS over the last five games.

12. Los Angeles Clippers

Odds: +8000
Record: 24-18 SU, 24-18 ATS
Previous Rank: 11

With a 21-point road loss to Denver followed by Saturday’s 109-104 setback against Detroit as 7.5-point favorites at home, the Clippers are 3-4 both SU and ATS in their last seven games.

13. Sacramento Kings

Odds: +25000
Record: 22-21 SU, 25-17-1 ATS
Previous Rank: 16

14. Utah Jazz

Odds: +6600
Record: 23-21 SU, 22-21-1 ATS
Previous Rank: 14

Utah extended its SU winning streak to three games with Saturday’s 110-102 win against Chicago, but it failed to cover as a 12-point home favorite. The Jazz is 5-1 and 4-2 ATS in their last six games.

15. Los Angeles Lakers

Odds: +2000
Record: 23-21 SU, 19-25 ATS
Previous Rank: 13

Despite losses both SU and ATS in their last two games against Utah on the road and Cleveland at home, the Lakers get the benefit of the doubt with LeBron James still on the mend.
