Monday Night saw an 18 point victory for the Wizards over the visiting Kings. The one bright spot this season for the Kings would have to be the play of George Hill as he pours in 16 points on 4 rebound in a great personal effort but just not enough to make a difference. The Sacramento Kings are going nowhere and they are great betting value! If you like to make money; bet against the Kings! These guys don’t cover and they rarely play to win.
Another team that is a good money maker as a loser, would be the Denver Nuggets. For all the offseason moves and all of the money they spent, they sure aren’t winning. At least not consistently. We made the argument right here early in the offseason, that Millsap was not a star and that if Denver really had a commitment to winning that they would finally get a head coach that cared and get some talent to build a future on. Didn’t happen. Look for the Denver Nuggets to continue their inconsistent performance.
The San Antonio Spurs are starting to find their rhythm as they visit the lowly Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday. San Antonio won four of its last five games and continues to play without All-Star small forward Kawhi Leonard and point guard Tony Parker due to quadriceps' injuries.
The Houston Rockets are slicing through opponents and look to post their seventh consecutive victory when they host the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday. Houston is averaging 120.2 points during the winning streak with an average victory margin of 17.7 points.
The Boston Celtics hope to have Kyrie Irving in the lineup when they seek their 13th straight victory in Tuesday's road game against the Brooklyn Nets. Irving suffered a facial fracture on Friday and missed one game but was cleared to travel with the Celtics for the game against the Nets.
Tonight brings 3 great games. Games that all have viewing and betting value. The Celtics are the best team in the NBA right now and what they have been able to do and the change, is remarkable. Love or hate Danny Ainge, the guy has built a team and nobody in their right mind can argue. Can they keep the streak alive and do they cover the spread? Watch this one closely as the number will move closer to game time. Check with your online sportsbook for the latest odds.
The Houston Rockets and James Harden are always fun to watch and tonight will be no exception. Harden is having another fantastic year averaging 30 ppg and 10 assists per game. The Raptors are not a terrible team and are still trying to figure it out. This will be a competitive game for most of the way and could be close.
Rounding off the night will be the Spurs as they take to the road against the hapless Mavericks. Here is the question of the year in the NBA… How long will Mark Cuban put up with this embarrassment? The Mavericks are the worst team in Basketball and don’t show much promise of improvement. Harrison Barnes is a great player but not someone to build a future around. The Mavericks keep screwing the pooch! How bad will the home loss be tonight?
