The Minnesota Timberwolves did not match a three-year, $28 million offer sheet for Tyus Jones by Tuesday's deadline and the guard is now headed to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Jones, 23, is a Minneapolis-area native, who played four seasons with his hometown team after attending Duke. He scored a career-best 6.9 points this past season with 4.8 assists in 68 games.

A No. 24 overall selection in the 2015 NBA Draft, Jones has averaged 5.1 points and 3.3 assists over 247 career games (34 starts).
