Kentucky starting forward Nate Sestina will miss three to four weeks with a fractured left wrist, coach John Calipari announced Wednesday on social media.
Sestina was hurt in practice on Tuesday - the eighth member of the Wildcats to sustain an injury on the young season.
"We finally get our entire team back yesterday," Calipari said in a video on Twitter. "We're finally a full team. We haven't been a full team in over a month. Nate goes to shoot a layup, it gets blocked, he falls back, goes to stop himself, breaks his wrist/hand. Out three to four, approximately four, weeks. And now we regroup. Next man up."
The 6-foot-9 forward, a graduate transfer from Bucknell, started all six of Kentucky's games on the season. He is averaging 7.3 points and 7.2 rebounds.
EJ Montgomery is likely to replace Sestina in the starting lineup.
No. 9 Kentucky (5-1) will host UAB on Friday.
