Here are the latest NFL betting trends after week 13:
• Favorites: 9-7 SU and 7-9 ATS (Season: 121-70-1 SU and 83-105-4 ATS) • Favorites of 7 or more: 2-2 SU and 2-2 ATS (Season: 42-8 SU and 25-24-1 ATS) • Favorites of 3 or less: 4-2 SU and 4-2 ATS (Season: 31-27-1 SU and 27-30-2 ATS) • Home Underdogs: 5-6 SU and 6-5 ATS (Season: 25-45-1 SU and 35-36 ATS)
Away underdogs (70-47-4 ATS / 59.83%) have been a great bet the entire season. I expect favorites to finish the season strong, as I can’t see dogs hitting 55+% throughout the entire regular season.
There have now been 92 overs (47.92%) and 100 unders (52.08%).
The Bills upset the Cowboys (26-15) on Thanksgiving Day and have now won three in a row. If the DEF (15.7 PPG - 3rd) can hold up, the Bills may have a chance to pull off an upset or two in the playoffs.
Hodges started at QB and the Steelers picked up a win over the Browns (20-13). PIT are in a playoff position right now, but they’ll need the DEF (18.8 PPG - 6th) to continue playing well to lock up a WC.
Lock made his debut finally and he looked alright (18/28 for 134 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT) in a win over the LAC (23-20). The season is over, but DEN need to see what they have in Lock the next few weeks.
The Colts have lost 4 of their last 5 games to fall out of the playoff picture. It’s tough to win games when you rank #26 in passing yards (204.8 PYPG) in today’s NFL. Indy also only score 21.8 PPG (17th).
Cousins isn’t built to shine under the spotlight. He’s now 0-8 in MNF games in his career, which is easily the worst record out of active QBs. If Minny make the playoffs, they’ll be eliminated quickly.

Scott is a millennial (born in 1989) who grew up in Toronto, Canada and he has never left the big city. He grew up playing a few sports (hockey, soccer and baseball) when he was younger. His favorite sport was hockey and he played goalie. He still likes to get out to the rinks to play some pick-up with his buddies.
Growing up in Toronto, Scott is a huge fan of all Toronto teams.
He watches the Maple Leafs and Raptors religiously. Scott also enjoys watching the Blue Jays, Argonauts and TFC.
His best sports memory was when the Raptors were crowned the 2019 NBA Champions. Unfortunately, he’s still waiting for the Maple Leafs to win a Stanley Cup during his lifetime.
Scott may be a diehard fan of Toronto sports teams, but he loves watching all sports. He’s a huge UFC fan (look for his UFC betting articles for most events) and he’ll watch just about anything, including tennis, golf, soccer and cricket.
Scott is a numbers guy and he likes digging deep into the statistics when handicapping games. He also likes to identify value bets in markets most bettors overlook, including player/team props.
When he’s not handicapping and watching sports, he enjoys golfing in the warmer months. He also loves burgers and poutine. Not only is that his favorite meal, but he has tried over 100 burgers in Toronto and he’s constantly looking for the best new burgers in the city.
