Now that the initial release of the CFP selection committee Top 25 has been released, it's time to start sorting things out on the field. There will be plenty of time for what-ifs, who's in, who's out and all the normal things that accompany this time of year. Before you begin making your case for which one-loss team deserves in over the others, let's take a few minutes to watch what looks to be a monster week on the gridiron for the college game.

Seven ranked games line the schedule this Saturday that could possibly shake up the rankings at any given point. These games encompass teams from all the Power 5 conferences and several players in the end of the year playoff sweepstakes. Let's take a look at a few that many will consider must-see viewing for the college football fan and gambler.

LSU at Alabama: Saturday 11/04 at 8:00 pm ET

If they needed any additional motivation, Nick Saban and The Tide got it in being ranked #2 in the opening CFP rankings behind Georgia. The first matchup for the newly fired up Alabama squad is the #19 ranked LSU Tigers in Tuscaloosa.

Video: Head-to-Head | Alabama vs. LSU Predictions

While normally predicted to be a dogfight, close game, this year's edition has Alabama coming in as a huge -21 point favorite. Alabama is 6-0 SU and 4-1-1 against the spread in their last six meetings with the Tigers. The total for the game currently sits at 48.5 after reaching 50 a few times over the week. The Under is 5-2 in the last 7 meetings between these two teams.

The LSU offense has struggled to score at times while Alabama has separated itself from everyone else on defense. The Tide bring in the nations best total defense allowing only 236 yards per game and the best scoring defense giving up less than 10 points per game. Will LSU be able to put up enough points to make this contest competitive, much less pull off the monumental upset? This is one of those bitter rivalries where sometimes you may have to chuck the stats out the window and watch the action on the field.

Virginia Tech at Miami: Saturday 11/04 at 8:00 pm ET

Miami will finally get a chance to prove they belong when they host Virginia Tech with the winner being in the driver's seat for the ACC Coastal Division. Despite being undefeated, Miami found itself sitting at #10 in the initial CFP rankings behind several one-loss teams. This is due to the Canes struggling with a schedule that includes no signature wins thus far.

The Hokies have aspirations of their own and enter the game ranked #13 with a record of 7-1. The only blemish on their record thus far is a 31-17 defeat to fellow ACC powerhouse Clemson back at beginning of October. Virginia Tech would like to be included in the list of teams with one loss to be considered for a spot and a win over Miami could go a long way to getting them into the conversation.

The latest NCAAF betting lines show the Hokies are currently a -2.5 point favorite and have touched -3 at a few shops. The total is sitting on 50 and has held steady recently.

Oklahoma at Oklahoma State: Saturday 11/04 at 4:00 pm ET

Oklahoma and Oklahoma State sit 5th and 11th respectively in the initial CFP rankings release. With each having one loss already, this rivalry matchup is basically two teams playing for their playoff chances as the loser is all but eliminated from the conversation.

Two superstar quarterbacks in Baker Mayfield and Mason Rudolph highlight what looks to be a classic Big 12 shootout. Don't blink in this one, as big plays are a normal part of both these team's offenses. Oklahoma is 9-3 ATS in its last 12 versus Oklahoma State but enters this game as a +2.5 point underdog. The total looks for a lot of offense as it is currently at 76. Oklahoma State total has gone Over in 14 of the last 16 games at home.

I'm one of those college football fans and gamblers that can constantly find a reason to make any week a big week. This week is above and beyond most, if not all. This is a huge week with major matchups and intrigue lining the card from start to finish. Enjoy the race to the playoff and hope all your tickets are winners.
