For football bettors that cannot get enough underdogs, this season to date has been money in the bank. Almost every week they cashing overall or in some particular category, especially that home pooch who is growling!

Favorites: 10-4 SU and 6-8 ATS (Season: 57-29-2 SU and 38-47-3 ATS)
Favorite of 7 or more: 4-1 SU and 1-4 ATS (Season: 15-6 SU and 8-12-1 ATS)
Favorites of 3 or less: 4-3 SU and 4-3 ATS  (Season: 18-16-2 SU and 15-19-2 ATS)
Home Underdogs: 3-3 SU and 4-2 ATS (Season: 10-8-2 SU and 16-4 ATS)
Pick Games: Home team 4-1 ATS

This all leads to our score-based Power Ratings, which we introduced this season. These type of ratings are based not only on records but on how teams did against the point spread, which gives us a broader view when it comes to understanding the strengths of a team when making lines.
Here are this week's ranking and team updates. Your comments are always welcome.

1. Los Angeles Rams

Odds: +300
Record: 6-0 SU and 3-2-1 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 1st

Los Angeles remains in the top spot of Power Ratings, but there hold is slipping as they have stopped covering spreads in recent weeks. They are double-digit favorites at San Francisco but will they be knocked out as the NFL's best?

2. Kansas City Chiefs

Odds: +700
Record: 5-1 SU and 6-0 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 2nd

Kansas City proved just how good they are in a thriller in New England. They should hold off Cincinnati this week but can any team keep covering spreads with that kind of defense?

3. New Orleans Saints

Odds: +850
Record: 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 3rd

New Orleans looks back on track after a slow start. The Saints will have an immense test heading to Baltimore this week with the league's top scoring offense facing the NFL's stingiest defense in points allowed.

4. Baltimore Ravens

Odds: +2000
Record: 4-2 SU and ATS
Last Week's Rank: 10th

When the Ravens come to play, they are as good as any team in the NFL. They should not have any problem getting up for Drew Brees and New Orleans this week.

5. Los Angeles Chargers

Odds: +1800
Record: 4-2 SU and 3-3 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 9th

There was a segment of the betting market that was high the Chargers faltering in Cleveland, but that never came close to happening with L.A. totally dominating. Next stop for the Bolts is London to take on Tennessee.

6. New England Patriots

Odds: +600
Record: 4-2 and 3-3 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 5th

You got the impression the only reason why the Patriots won over Kansas City is they had the ball last. Tom Brady and friends will find a hostile environment in the Windy City in Chi-Town.

7. Minnesota Vikings

Odds: +1200
Record: 3-2-1 SU and 2-2-2 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 4th

The Vikings got off to a good start against Arizona but let up in the second half and only got a Push. Minnesota, surprisingly, only went off as a field goal favorite at the Jets.

8. Pittsburgh Steelers

Odds: +1800
Record: 3-2-1 SU and 3-3 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 6th

Like the leaves changing colors in the autumn, Pittsburgh almost always wins at Cincinnati. The Steelers defensive coaches will be looking to find ways to improve the defense before facing Cleveland.

9. Philadelphia Eagles

Odds: +1600
Record: 3-3 and 2-4 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 14th

We told you last week that Super Bowl champions after an early season slump generally start playing better starting week six. This is exactly what the Eagles did. Let's see if Philly can continue building momentum with Carolina in town.

10. Seattle Seahawks

Odds: +6600
Record: 3-3 and 3-2-1 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 15th

Is Seattle starting to put it together? It sure looked like it against Oakland with a domineering performance. The Seahawks can enjoy the victory with a bye week coming.

11. Cincinnati Bengals

Odds: +3300
Record: 4-2 SU and ATS
Last Week's Rank: 7th

Once again, Cincinnati had the Steelers on the ropes and could not knock them out. The Bengals suffered a host of injuries to there secondary which contributed to setback and going to take on the Chiefs with that sort of problem is hardly ideal.

12. Green Bay Packers

Odds: +2000
Record: 3-2-1 SU and 2-4 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 12th

The truth of the matter is that the Packers would have never won without Aaron Rodgers. They were outworked, outplayed and outhustled for the first 55 minutes. If Green Bay has any playoff aspirations they better dig deep to find them during the bye week.

13. Detroit Lions

Odds: +6600
Record: 2-3 SU and 4-1 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 11th

With Chicago losing, this a terrific spot for the Lions to get back to .500 and be a factor in the NFC North. But as the Bears found out, Miami is not always a home pushover.

14. Carolina Panthers

Odds: +3300
Record: 3-2 SU and 2-3  ATS
Last Week's Rank: 8th

Carolina came off their bye week sluggish and fell behind early to Washington 17-0 thanks to three turnovers and only made the final score respectable. It will not be easier this week with Philly feeling better about itself with a blowout win.

15. Dallas Cowboys

Odds: +3300
Record: 3-3 SU and 3-2-1 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 19th

How 'bout them Cowboys! After only scoring a season-high 26 points, Dallas exploded for 40 points in a rout of Jacksonville. With the NFC East up for grabs, the Cowboys will look to lasso Washington.

16. Chicago Bears

Odds: +2500
Record: 3-2 SU and ATS
Last Week's Rank: 16th

So much for the Bears "Monsters of the Midway" defense after permitting over 500 yards to Miami and losing in OT. A monstrous test for the Bears this week with New England in town.

17. Jacksonville Jaguars

Odds: +2000
Record: 3-3 SU and ATS
Last Week's Rank: 5th

Jacksonville is finding out what it is like when opposing teams take them seriously and they are not completely focused. The sense you get about the Jaguars is after beating the Patriots, they felt they were unbeatable and they just had to show up. It does work like that in this league.

18. Houston Texans

Odds: +3300
Record: 3-3 SU and 1-4-1 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 18th

Houston has won three in a row but has hardly looked overwhelming. The Texans can make a statement that they are on the rise with an upset at Jacksonville.

19.  Atlanta Falcons

Odds: +5000
Record: 2-4 SU and ATS
Last Week's Rank: 20th

The Dirty Birds got a much-needed victory yet still have a great many problems on defense. They will be hoping more home-cooking will give them a victory over the Giants on Monday Night Football.

20. Washington Redskins

Odds: +4000
Record: 3-2 SU and ATS
Last Week's Rank: 24th

The up and down Redskins were at it again, beating Carolina 23-17. Does the trend continue of Washington losing on even-numbered games this week?

21. New York Jets

Odds: +10000
Record: 3-3 SU and ATS
Last Week's Rank: 22nd

Let's hear it for the Jets offense, 76 points in the last two weeks. Gang Green goes for the rare 3-game home sweep versus the Vikings.

22. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Odds: +15000
Record: 2-3 SU and ATS
Last Week's Rank: 22nd

The Buccaneers 2-0 start is becoming a fading memory with three straight losses. If Tampa Bay expects to compete in the NFC South they must beat the Browns this Sunday.

23. Tennessee Titans

Odds: +8000
Record: 3-3 SU and ATS
Last Week's Rank: 17th

The Titans were completely engulfed by the Baltimore defense and never threatened to score, being shutout 21-0. No bargain traveling to Carson, CA to face Philip Rivers and the Chargers.

24. San Francisco 49ers

Odds: +30000
Record: 1-5 SU and 2-4 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 26th

An absolutely valiant effort by San Francisco Monday night but they just came up short against Aaron Rodgers. Another chance for the Niners to beat a good team with the LA Rams in Frisco.

25. Miami Dolphins

Odds: +8000
Record: 4-2 SU and ATS
Last Week's Rank: 27th

No Ryan Tannehill, three offensive linemen out and still Miami manage to beat the Bears in overtime. Just another week in the NFL! Miami will try their luck against another NFC North squad when Matthew Stafford and the Lions hit the Miami area.

26. Buffalo Bills

Odds: +25000
Record: 2-4 SU and 3-3 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 29th

Though Buffalo has a quarterback shortage they keep hanging around in games. They were in a position to beat Houston but Nathan Peterman threw yet another interception. The Bills will try their luck in Indianapolis.

27. Indianapolis Colts

Odds: +20000
Record: 1-5 SU and 2-4 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 28th

Indianapolis is only going to have so many chances to win 50-50 games this season. They blew their chance against the Jets and will have another opportunity to get in the win column when facing Buffalo this week.

28. Arizona Cardinals

Odds: +50000
Record: 1-5 SU and 3-2-1 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 30th

The Arizona defense gave up yards but actually played hard in a 27-17 setback at Minnesota. On a short week, the Cardinals are after their first home win of the season vs. Denver.

29. Cleveland Browns

Odds: +10000
Record: 2-3-1 SU and 4-2 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 23rd

The Cleveland defense was no match for the Chargers, surrendering 38 points. The Browns step out of conference and head to west Florida to battle the Bucs.

30. New York Giants

Odds: +15000
Record: 1-5 SU and 2-4 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 25th

Sports talk radio in New York says it's time to bail-out on Eli Manning. But does anyone really want to see the G-Men's backup quarterbacks play? What a terrible position New York has placed itself in.

31. Denver Broncos

Odds: +15000
Record: 2-4 SU and 1-4-1 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 32nd

The Broncos got their first cover of the season against the Rams largely due to penalty calls on their final drive, for an old backdoor winner. Denver might be a short favorite in the desert but they are 1-9 ATS as recent visitors.

32. Oakland Raiders

Odds: +30000
Record: 1-5 SU and 1-4-1 ATS
Last Week's Rank: 31st

This is the roster Jon Gruden wanted, experienced without a lot of talent. Derek Carr continues to regress and both lines are being whipped at the line of scrimmage. Maybe a bye week will provide answers.
