Five-time Solheim Cup participant Michelle Wie will work as a studio analyst during the Golf Channel's coverage of the event, which begins Friday.
Wie, who was part of the U.S. Solheim Cup teams from 2009-17, has been sidelined for much of the LPGA season by injuries.
"I'm excited to join the Golf Channel crew to give my views and inputs on a great event that means so much to me," Wie, 29, said. She also is set to contribute to the network's social media platforms.
Wie has five LPGA titles, including the 2014 U.S. Women's Open.
The Solheim Cup is being held at the PGA Centenary Course at Gleneagles in Scotland. The U.S. holds the Solheim Cup, having defended it in Des Moines, Iowa, two years ago.
