Nashville comes into week five on fire. This hockey team is on a mission and they are burning it up with an overall record of 10-3, 10-3 against the spread and 6-0 on the road. They have found their niche and are a force to be reckoned with on the ice and in the betting arena. This week features some big changes in the power rankings and more than a few surprises such as Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton. Where does your favorite team rank and what are the newest odds to win the 2018/19 Stanley Cup? You may be surprised but bear in mind, this ranking is aimed at giving the bettor the most bang for the buck. Take a look at the trends below and what you see might indeed come as a surprise. The road teams win a lot of games and the underdogs are winning even more games, as a matter of fact, they are winning to the tune of just over 66% of the time. That’s an astounding number but then again, if you know the NHL, then you know exactly how big money can be won from week to week; playing the underdogs. As the weeks roll on, the best teams start to rise above the competition and what you see is what you are pretty much going to get. Check out this week’s power ranking and let us know if you agree.

Every fan wants to know where their team stands and if their team deserves attention from a betting standpoint. Can you find value and if so why? What these ranking are meant to do, is show betting fans, the current-weekly state of affairs for each NHL team. This weekly power ranking is not based on the popularity of the team and not necessarily based on record. Although the record is a factor; the money lines from the oddsmakers are a much more important factor. What those teams did for the week against the money line is the ultimate deciding factor in the NHL weekly-betting, power ranking.

We hope that you enjoy the weekly ranking and we welcome your feedback and any comments that you may have. Remember, these power rankings are for the current week in the NHL and they are not individual game previews. These rankings are meant to show overall betting-performance.
