Free-agent forward Dominik Kahun agreed to a one-year deal with the Edmonton Oilers on Monday after not receiving a qualifying offer from the Buffalo Sabres.
Kahun's $950,000 deal comes after a 2019-20 season when he had 12 goals and 19 assists in 56 games for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Sabres.
The 25-year-old was traded to Buffalo on Feb. 24 and scored two goals with two assists in six games with the Sabres.
Signed as an undrafted free agent by the Chicago Blackhawks in May of 2018, Kahun has 25 career goals and 43 assists in 138 regular-season games for the Blackhawks, Penguins and Sabres.
