It’s time for the fall trip to Talladega for the 500 and, according to Intertops Sportsbook Review, Ford drivers top the favorites list! Joey Logano comes in as the only driver under +1000. The driver of the No. 22 Ford for Team Penske comes in at +750 and is the lone favorite with a whole bunch of drivers nestled together between +1000 to +1400.

Logano’s teammate, Brad Keselowski, shares the +1000 mark with Chase Elliott who pilots the No. 9 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports. Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch, both with Joe Gibbs Motorsports, are behind the wheel of Toyotas making this one of the few times were all three manufacturers are represented as favorites.

Ford’s Playground over Last Ten Races

One thing that Top Rated Online Sportsbooks, such as Intertops Sportsbook Review, takes into consideration when it comes to NASCAR is looking at past performance at a track. The number is in Ford’s camp when it comes to Talledega over the last ten races. Blue oval drivers have won eight of the last ten ‘Dega races. Chevrolet scored the other two checkered flags with Toyota being completely locked out. Here’s how the last ten Talladega races have gone.

Predicting the 500 at Talladega

Heres the stat that you need to know, and that Top Rated Online Sportsbooks take into consideration. According to NASCAR, these wheelmen have the best average finish among active drivers at Talladega with 3 or more starts at the track. The most surprising name may be Ty Dillon.

1.Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.(11.8)
2.Chase Eliott (14)
3.Ty Dillon (14.2)
4.Daniel Suarez (14.4)
5.Kurt Busch (15.2)
6.Brad Keselowski (15.6)
7.Aric Almirola (15.9)
8.Clint Bowyer (16.1)
9.Kevin Harvick (16.1)
10.Joey Logano (16.4)

Kyle Larson won last weekend at Dover where he claimed his first checkered flag of the season. Larson now has a ticket to the final leg of the Cup Series Playoffs and is one of two Chevy drivers that have shown some consistency during the last few months. The other Chevrolet driver is Chase Elliott. Both have a great opportunity to grab another win with Elliott having the opportunity to go back-to-back as he’s the defending Talladega winner with Aric Almirola being the defending winner of the Fall ‘Dega Race.

Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, and Martin Truex Jr. lead the Toyota drivers coming into the race weekend due to the strength they have shown over the course of the season. However, Busch has had plenty of issues to deal with including a horrible Roval finish and the inability to string together great outings during the last several months. Hamlin comes in as the best looking driver out of the Gibbs camp.

Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski both have won at Talladega with Keselowski racking up five during his Cup Series career. Logano has three ‘Dega wins making the two Penske drivers the winningest Talladega winners among Playoff drivers. Clint Bowyer, also a Ford Driver, has three to his credit. Kevin Harvick, behind the wheel of the No. 4 Ford for Stewart – Haas Racing, has one win at the Alabama Superspeedway. Ford is the manufacturer to beat this coming Sunday.
