Three JGR car chiefs suspended for Michigan infractions

The car chiefs for Joe Gibbs Racing drivers Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin and Erik Jones have been suspended for infractions they incurred at prerace inspection for Sunday's FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway.
The inspection failure was related to the cars' front splitters and led to the drivers having to start at the back of the field.
Nate Bellows, the car chief for Busch, Brandon Griffeth (Hamlin) and Jason Overstreet (Jones) will each miss next week's race in Sonoma, Calif. since the series is idle this week.
The crew chiefs for each of the teams were also fined $25,000.
