The 2019-20 UEFA Champions League final was postponed Monday due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The competition was scheduled for May 30 at Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey. No makeup date has been decided.
"The working group, established last week as a result of the conference call among the stakeholders of European football, which was chaired by UEFA President, Aleksander Ceferin, will analyse the options available," read a statement from UEFA. "The group has already begun its examination of the calendar. Announcements will be made in due course."
Twelve teams are still alive in the battle for European club supremacy, as only half of the round-of-16 ties were completed before UEFA postponed the remaining matches earlier this month.
Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Atalanta and RB Leipzig have reached the quarterfinals. The four remaining spots are pending results of the following second-leg ties: Manchester City vs. Real Madrid, Juventus vs. Lyon, Barcelona vs. Napoli and Bayern Munich vs. Chelsea.
UEFA also postponed the Women's Champions League final and Europa League final, both originally scheduled for May.
