The Houston Dynamo exercised 2019 options on standout forward Romell Quioto, midfielder Juan David Cabezas and goalkeeper Joe Willis among a flurry of moves on Tuesday.

The Dynamo picked up the options of seven additional players and declined six others.

Quioto had six goals and 12 assists in 32 games this season. The 27-year-old has 13 goals and 15 assists in 54 matches over two seasons in Houston.

Cabezas, a 27-year-old defensive-minded midfielder, played in just six matches in 2018 due to a quadriceps injury. He played in 27 games the previous year.

Willis, 30, went 9-11-6 with a 1.62 goals-against average and four shutouts this season. He has 11 total shutouts in 63 matches (61 starts) in four seasons with the team.

Houston also exercised options on defenders A.J. DeLaGarza, Kevin Garcia and Adam Lundkvist, midfielders Eric Bird, Boniek Garcia and Memo Rodriguez and goalkeeper Michael Nelson.

The Dynamo declined options on defenders Leonardo, Conor Donovan, Adolfo Machado, Dylan Remick and Jared Watts and forward Mac Steeves.
