Los Angeles FC picked up the option of standout goalkeeper Tyler Miller and four others on Tuesday, the team announced.
LAFC declined options on seven other players, including forward Marco Urena.
Miller had 10 shutouts and a 1.52 goals-against average while going 16-8-9 in 33 matches for the first-year club.
LAFC selected Miller with the first overall pick of last December's expansion draft. He previously was a member of the Seattle Sounders.
LAFC also picked up the options of midfielders Mark-Anthony Kaye, Lee Nguyen and Josh Perez as well as forward Shaft Brewer Jr.
Urena had just one goal and five assists in 18 matches (11 starts). He was the third pick of the expansion draft from the San Jose Earthquakes.
LAFC also declined the options of goalkeepers Charlie Lyon and Quillan Roberts, midfielders Nico Czornomaz, Calum Mallace and James Murphy, and forward Steeve Saint-Duc.
