Defender Eric Miller is staying close to home, as the Minnesota United have re-signed the homegrown talent.

Terms of Monday's deal with the 26-year-old veteran were not released.

Miller spent most of the 2018 season with the Loons, making 18 appearances and contributing an assist after being acquired in a May trade from the Colorado Rapids.

Miller is entering his sixth MLS season, having also previously played for the Montreal Impact. He has made 104 career regular-season appearances and four MLS Cup Playoffs appearances.

Minnesota United opens the 2019 season on March 2 on the road against the Vancouver Whitecaps.
