Top-seeded Serbian Novak Djokovic capped a stellar week in Tokyo with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Australian qualifier John Millman in the final of the Rakuten Japan Open on Sunday.
Djokovic, who didn't drop a set all week, was playing in the event for the first time.
It's the 76th career title for the World No. 1 and third this year. It's also the 10th time he's won an event in his first appearance in the main draw.
Top-seeded Dominic Thiem of Austria outlasted third-seeded Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 to claim the title in Beijing.
It's the fourth title of the season for Thiem, who split the first two sets with Tsitsipas before running away with the third following two early breaks.
Tsitsipas, 21, was seeking his third title of the season and first in an ATP 500 event. He's currently sixth in the race to qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals in London, which will feature the top eight points earners.
