The NBA Monday slate is huge, and it features a lot of blockbuster games. This past weekend was all about college basketball, but this is not the case for Monday. Besides a few mid-major tournaments, the NBA is the only game in town.
The player props, money lines, and totals all have value, but the spread is my favorite bet today. There are tons of value in this market between all nine games on the calendar.
Here are my best NBA point spreads for Monday, March 21st.
New Orleans Pelicans vs. Charlotte Hornets
Best Bet: Pelicans +7
The New Orleans Pelicans have a tough task ahead of them on Monday when they face the Hornets. The Pelicans have a lot of promise in the future. This team is not ready for the spotlight just yet, but I love them ATS on Monday.
The Hornets are a solid young team as well, but it’s tough to win by seven points. They are laying seven points, and this is too big for comfort. The Pelicans have won three of their past four games, and they are 7-3 in their past ten against Charlotte.
Additionally, this team is 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games on the road. Bookmakers give them too many points, and they take advantage of it for bettors.
Miami Heat vs. Philadelphia 76ers
Best Bet: 76ers +1.5
The Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers are two favorites to come out of the Eastern Conference. This game is going to be very competitive based on the 1.5 spread in favor of Miami. I will take a free 1.5 for the Sixers at home any day of the week.
This is especially true when you look at Miami’s injuries. Jimmy Butler and Caleb Martin are questionable. Victor Oladipo and Gabe Vincent are out, so I think this could be too much to overcome.
The Sixers are 10-3 SU in their past 13 at home against the Heat. Philadelphia has not been great as of late, but this is a perfect spot for the team.
Toronto Raptors vs. Chicago Bulls
Best Bet: Raptors +4.5
The Raptors have a few injuries, but their spread against Chicago is very fair. OG Anunoby has not played since February.
This has hurt the team, but they are learning how to deal with the injury. Fred VanVleet is questionable on Monday, but I expect him to play.
The Raptors are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games. They are also 6-0 ATS in their last six on the road. They will hit a struggling Chicago team at home on Monday.
In their last ten games, the Bulls are 1-9 ATS and 2-8 SU.
Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Dallas Mavericks

Best Bet: Timberwolves +3.5
It’s too good to resist Timberwolves at +3.5 on Monday. This team is 42-30 and 41-30-1 ATS in 2021-22. They will play the Mavericks on the road.
Dallas has been very good, but the Timberwolves have been slightly better.
If Karl-Anthony Towns plays, I love Minnesota at +3.5. The Timberwolves are 10-1 ATS/SU in their past 11 games. The Mavericks have won at home, but they are riding a two-game losing streak.
