Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Virginia Tech Hokies Predictions

Yellow Jackets vs. Hokies Betting Report

Best Bet: Virginia Tech (-2)

Georgia Tech on the road is always a scary proposition, while Virginia Tech is very good at home. The Yellow Jackets are 8-12 in true road games over the last two seasons, while the Hokies are 21-7 straight-up in the same time frame.

Mike Young’s group is 6-4 against the spread at home this season with an average margin of victory of 11.1 points per game. The Hokies should also benefit from finally playing at Cassell, as they have played only a single game within the friendly confines since Jan. 17. Five of their last six games have taken place on the road.

The Hokies are 9-1 straight-up at home this season, while Georgia Tech is just 2-5 straight-up on the road. Virginia Tech is also 11-2 straight-up as the favorite, while the Yellow Jackets are 4-6 straight-up as the dog.

Justyn Mutts is a player to keep an eye on here, as he is coming off of his best game as a member of the Hokies with 22 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists in an overtime victory over Miami.

College Basketball Betting Lines

Oklahoma Sooners at Kansas State Wildcats Predictions

Sooners vs. Wildcats Betting Report

Best Bet: Oklahoma -11

This line feels wrong but in a way that should be beneficial. Kansas State is one of the worst power six teams in the nation.

Oklahoma, meanwhile, has looked like one of the top 10 teams in the nation at times this season. In the previous matchup, the Sooners completely dismantled the Wildcats by a score of 76-50 in Norman.

In that game, Austin Reaves didn’t even play well, and he has been on fire since returning three games ago.

Since returning, Reaves has averaged over 21 points per game, and the Sooners are a perfect 3-0. The Sooners are 8-2 against the spread over their last 10 games and have won eight of their last nine games straight-up.

Meanwhile, Kansas State is just 8-15 against the spread and an even less impressive 3-12 against the spread at home. As the dog, the Wildcats are just 2-15 straight-up on the season and 4-12 straight-up at home.

Take the Sooners to cover this number easily.

Ole Miss Rebels at Missouri Tigers Predictions

Rebels vs. Tigers Betting Report

Best Bet: Missouri -3.5

It may feel like a bit of a reach to back Missouri at this point in time, but the Tigers should be motivated by revenge in this game. In the previous meeting, Ole Miss completely derailed Missouri just when the Tigers were looking like one of the best teams in the nation.

The Rebels defeated Missouri by 21 points. Ole Miss played phenomenally on offense, averaging 1.29 points per possession.

The Tigers are 11-9 against the spread on the season but have won eight of their last nine games at home. As the favorite, Missouri is 9-3 straight-up on the season and 8-2 straight-up at home.

Ole Miss had been playing well lately but then slipped up against rival Mississippi State over the weekend. The Rebels have covered the number in four of their last five games but are just 4-5 against the spread on the road this season.

Missouri should be motivated to avenge an embarrassing loss while looking to improve its tournament seeding. Look for the Tigers to win comfortably here.
