Bettors expecting MNF fireworks from Rams-Bucs

The last time Tom Brady faced the Los Angeles Rams it was while leading the New England Patriots to victory in Super Bowl 53.

That defensive slugfest featured only 16 combined points.

It’s safe to say bettor expect far more offensive fireworks when Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play host to the Rams on Monday Night Football.

BetRivers and DraftKings set the over/under at 48.5 points. Bettors are backing the over at both books: 77 percent of the handle at BetRivers and 76 percent at DraftKings.

The Rams (+180 by BetRivers) have covered the spread in five of nine games while their games have hit the over seven times. The Bucs (-210) have covered in half of their 10 games this season, with all five of the wins coming by double-digits.

The Bucs are being backed by 69 percent of the moneyline handle at both sportsbooks, with Tampa Bay also receiving 63 percent of the total bets at DraftKings. The story is similar in point spread wagering, with 65 percent of the handle at BetRivers on the Bucs (-4.5) and 64 percent at DraftKings on Tampa Bay (-4).

DraftKings is also offering several matchup prop bets. Among them:
–Most Passing Yards: Tom Brady (-141) vs. Jared Goff (+113)
–Most Passing TDs: Brady (-137) vs. Goff (+110)
–Most Receiving Yards: Mike Evans (-124) vs. Robert Woods (+100)
