College football is back in full effect. Last week was the first full slate of the season, and it did not disappoint. The Virginia Tech Hokies upset the North Carolina Tar Heels at home. Jump around was on full display at Camp Randall Stadium. Additionally, McKenzie Milton returned for the first time since his gruesome leg injury three years ago.
The week two slate is expected to be even better than the first. There are many competitive games, and spread bets should be on your radar heading into the weekend. Here are the top five bets against the spread for week two.

28.5 points is a large spread to cover, but this is a lopsided matchup. The Florida Gators are paying USF a lot of money to play this game, and this will be apparent on Saturday. I fully expect Florida to limit the Bulls’ scoring and light up the scoreboard.
South Florida is coming off a 45-0 loss to NC State. Florida needs a strong showing heading into the Alabama game next week.
#12 Oregon vs. #3 Ohio State Week 2
Best Bet: Ohio State -13.5
Ohio State found a way to win in Minnesota in the first week of the season. You cannot judge the team for their poor showing in the first half. Kayvon Thibodeaux is questionable for the game, but if he does not play, this is a lock.
The Buckeyes are 6-4 ATS at home as favorites, and they will establish their dominance over the Ducks.
Toledo vs. #8 Notre Dame Week 2
Best Bet: -16.5
The Fighting Irish are coming off a rough showing against Florida State. The team was nearly upset by the young Seminoles. However, they found a way to win. Brian Kelly will clean up his team’s mistakes, and they will make a statement in an easy matchup against Toledo.
Notre Dame is 5-0 against MAC schools under Brian Kelly, and they have outscored them 234-80. Look for the Irish to tighten up their defense in the game and cover.
Colorado vs. #5 Texas A&M Week 2

Kyle Field is one of the most challenging atmospheres in college football for road teams. The Aggies covered in week one by the skin of their teeth. The offense needs to clean up their turnovers to cover, but this is expected for a top-five team.
The only chance that Colorado has to cover +17.5 is if they run the football efficiently. They had success in week one against Northern Colorado, but I do not expect this on Saturday.
If the Aggies limit their mistakes, they will win by three touchdowns.
Ball State vs. Penn State Week 2

Penn State was able to steal a game against Wisconsin on the road. The team will return to Happy Valley on Saturday, but they will not cover against Ball State. Taking Ball State against the spread is risky against a Big Ten.
Nevertheless, their resume is great for this contest. They are 9-1 ATS in their past ten games as underdogs. I believe they will be 10-1 after they play Penn State on Saturday.
