What a game this should be! Last week the Niners lost at the last second in the "Game of the Year" thus far in Baltimore. Now they get a second chance at winning a "Game of the Year" type feel in NOLA.
The Saints have had a couple hiccups in the past eight weeks, but for the most part have looked like a Super team. Online sportsbooks have taken notice.
Now they get the NFC's best in their building in what should be an epic battle of offense vs. defense. The Niners D has been giving opposing offenses fits and should do the same against the high powered Saints attack, but New Orleans has been playing some solid defense in big moments and that is where I see this game being won.
Look for Drew Brees to hit the league's best WR Michael Thomas for a TD or two and for the Saints D to come up with a huge turnover late to salt this one away.
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS AT TAMPA BAY BUCS
LINE: TAMPA BAY -3
DTM PICK: INDIANAPOLIS +3
The Bucs somehow, someway, have looked like an actual NFL team the past few weeks with Jameis "Crab Legs" Winston throwing more TDs than INTs, which is always a surprise.
Now they welcome in the desperate Colts who come off a brutal loss at home to the Titans in a game I gave you last week. Now I'm telling you the Colts are the side, because the bottom line is they are alive for a playoff spot, if barely. They are clearly the better team even with Tampa's improved play as of late.
As the calendar turns to December you always want to side with a truly desperate team with legit playoff chances getting points over a team that has to have about 46 things go right for them to get in.
This is as MUST WIN as MUST WIN gets for the Colts, and you're getting three points?
Sign me up for Jacoby Brissett and company to bounce back in a big way down by the Bay.
What fun this possible AFC Title game preview will be.
The Pats off a rough loss in Houston last week and the Chiefs off a molly whopping of the sagging Raiders.
Patty Mahomes is fully healed and dealing like he did in his MVP season, and Tom Brady is angry and frustrated with his offense's lack of scoring as of late.
The Pats have relied on their defense all season long, but lately it has not been the unit it was earlier in the season. Enter Mahomes and a Chiefs offense that can score with the best of them.
This will be a back and forth affair for much of the way, until the Chiefs get a key stop late and take the edge on the strength of their offense.
This will come down to the wire, but with the way these two teams have been playing, I am snagging the three points and feeling good about it all the way to the bank.
