This game features two Western Conference teams that are headed in absolutely different directions over the past two weeks.
The Rockets are really starting to gel and have won four in a row, eight of their last 10, and currently occupy the 4 seed in the Western Conference playoff standings. The Grizzles have lost three in a row, are just 5-5 in their last 10, and are barely hanging on to the 8 seed out West.
The good news for Memphis is they have my odds on favorite for Rookie of the Year, all due respect to Zion, Ja Morant. Morant has been nothing short of breathtaking his freshman season.

This Memphis team is due for a solid performance. They have been playing some tough teams as of late, like the Clips and Lakers on the road. It’s not like they were losing to bottom feeders.
Look for a playoff type feel in this game on both sides, and for Memphis, behind Morant and G Dillon Brooks, to have a legit chance to actually win this one outright.
Houston will have its runs and "The Beard" James Harden will take his 30-plus shots and score his 30-plus points, but in the end this will be a tight one that the Grizzlies cover easy.
This should be a ton of fun as the red-hot Celtics take on a Jazz team that is super tough at home.
The C's are 8-2 in their last 10, and have been getting some absurd play from Jayson Tatum, who dropped 36 last night in a 12 point win on the road over Portland. It is always somewhat dangerous to take a team on the back end of a back-to-back, but when they are a team as good as the Celts, it is not nearly as scary.

Look at Milwaukee, who were in the same situation last night against a incredible Toronto team at home, and got the better of them. I see the same thing happening here as the Jazz simply don't have the D or the firepower on offense to match what Boston, the current 3 seed in the East, is doing right now.
The Jazz have lost three in a row, are just 4-6 in their last 10, and have been scuffling as of late. They are playing as inconsistent as they have all season over the past month or so.
Look for Boston to get off to a hot start, and never look back. The Celts will just have to much all night long for a Jazz team that is really questioning just how good they are against the best teams in the league.
Give me not just a C's cover, but an OUTRIGHT win in Salt Lake City with another monster game by Tatum, who has been unstoppable as of late.
