The Pelicans have very little to write home About but hey, that was one of their five wins, give them credit where credit is due, and it was a 13-point drilling. Talk is cheap! The Warriors are that good. YES, they are 15-points better on the road, in LA, than the Clippers. The Pelicans are terrible on the road and tonight, the Clippers easily get the job done.

The Indiana Pacers are struggling to find any kind of continuity, consistency. The New Orleans win back on the 20th was expected, the Chicago win in Chicago, that was a stellar effort, and a 32-point drilling, a smackdown. The Bulls were exhausted and it showed but it matters not, we must give the Pacers credit. Oh, but then back home against LeBron and the Lakers – you know the game… the one where LeBron had two Pacers fans thrown out of the game and where the Pacers, well, just melted down.
That was an embarrassing and ugly loss in OT, 116-124. But that’s ok, they get the big win, 114-97, over Toronto, and the world is good again! Sure, call it sarcasm, but we call it as we see it. Last night the Pacers were blown out in Milwaukee by 18. This team is bizarre, to say the least. An 18-point loss in Milwaukee is not trying. We didn’t expect the win, just an effort. The Timberwolves are playing inspired and motivated basketball, having won four of the last five and going for the fifth consecutive home win, tonight. This one will be close and will go to the wire, but the Pacers are not playing inspired, The Wolves are.

For this one, we head further west and you knew we would. The west is best if you want a high scoring, no defense, play it to the bone, till it hurts, kind of basketball. The Jazz started the season out looking like they had recently acquired Steph, Thompson, and KD! This team was ablaze and they were hot. They are still playing well, but have slowed somewhat. The Pelicans picked up win number five this season in Utah, 98-97, on the 26th, then on the 27th, the Jazz turn right around and beat the brakes off the Pelicans, 127-105.
Three of the last five games have been a scoring blitz for the Jazz with 123 against SAC, 119 in a Memphis loss, and 127, they put up 110 in OKC and a win, 110-104. The Blazers have scored 112, 118, 119, 125, and 118 over the last five games. Look, let’s cut to the chase… Both teams like to run, run, run, tonight will be no exception. We saddle up, leave Utah and head south to the great state of Texas, where the 10-10 Cleveland Cavaliers take on the 10-8 Dallas Mavericks. We think they return to their losing ways tonight, along with the Dallas Mavericks smacking the Cavs.
