The 2021-22 NBA season hits its stretch run. Phoenix has the best record in basketball and is the only team to have clinched a playoff berth. Miami has clinched its division.
Two of the hottest teams in the league – Minnesota and Milwaukee – square off tonight. The TWolves would like to get out of the play-in tournament. They are currently seventh in the Western Conference trailing Denver by a game.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

Since January, Minnesota has been outstanding. More recently, the TWolves have won nine of their last ten games. Tonight, they are at home against Milwaukee, which is just two games out of the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
Tonight’s game features two of the top scorers in the NBA – Giannis Antetokounmpo of Milwaukee and Karl-Anthony Towns of Minnesota.
The TWolves have been hard to stop with an offense that leads the NBA in scoring (115.2 ppg). The Bucks are third (114.9 ppg). The Bucks have won eight of the last ten games in the series, but in the only game between the two teams this season Minnesota has a 113-108 win.

Detroit Pistons vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavs were a top four team in the East at one point. Over their last 13 games though, they are just 4- 9 SU. Tonight, they run into a Detroit team that is having some recent success.
Over their last 13 games, Detroit is 7-6. That doesn’t sound like much, but for a team that has just 19 wins this season it’s quite an accomplishment. Plus, in those 13 games the Pistons are 11-0-2 ATS. They are keeping games closer than expected.
Tonight, Jerami Grant and Cade Cunningham are both listed as probable. That will give Detroit the boost it needs to surprise Cleveland on its home floor. Don’t forget, the Pistons have won the last two games in the series – one in February and one in January.
Dallas Mavericks vs. Charlotte Hornets
Pick: HORNETS +110
The Hornets have won three straight piling the points on New Orleans, Oklahoma City, and Atlanta. The No. 2 scoring offense in the NBA takes on the NBA’s best defense tonight at home.
Charlotte will have a bit of an advantage since Dallas played just last night. The Mavericks lost 111-101 to Philadelphia. It just the second loss for the Mavs in their last eight games.
The Hornets are 9-6 SU this season when they have a rest advantage over their opponent. Charlotte beat Atlanta on Wednesday. In games after the Hornets had two days off this season, they are 8-5 SU.
This is expected to be a close game and the Hornets are better rested. Back the home underdog for the win.
