Can Jrue Holiday continue to shine for the Milwaukee Bucks? Will Anthony Edwards enjoy success against the Memphis Grizzlies? Can Bam Adebayo maintain his hot streak for the Miami Heat? Read on to discover my NBA player props picks for Friday, January 27th.
Jrue Holiday – Over 19.5 Points (-125)
The Milwaukee Bucks sit third in the Eastern Conference after securing four victories in five games, and Jrue Holiday has been pivotal to the team’s run. Indeed, the experienced guard has chalked up both points and assists for fun recently.
Holiday has scored 20+ points in six of his previous eight appearances and even managed to register 35 against the Indiana Pacers last week. The Bucks face the Pacers again on Friday, so I’m backing Holiday to secure another sizeable haul.
Anthony Edwards – Over 1.5 Steals (-120)
Grizzlies vs. Timberwolves Prediction
Only one player has notched more steals than Anthony Edwards this season, while just four players have a better steals-per-game average. Having recorded 86 steals in 50 outings, the Minnesota Timberwolves star averages 1.7 steals per game in 2022-23.
On Friday, the Timberwolves host the faltering Memphis Grizzlies, who have lost each of their last four games. Although Minnesota remains seven places below Memphis in the Western Conference, I’m confident that Edwards will grab over 1.5 steals.
Bam Adebayo – Over 10.5 Rebounds (-115)
In terms of forwards, Bam Adebayo has the fourth-best rebounds-per-game average this season. Averaging 10.2 rebounds per game, the Miami Heat center has dominated his opponents throughout the campaign.
Adebayo has racked up 11+ rebounds in eight of his previous 11 appearances and even managed to register 15 rebounds and 30 points against the Boston Celtics last time out. That’s why I’m backing him to get over 10.5 rebounds against the Orlando Magic on Friday.
Darius Garland – Over 21.5 Points (-125)
Cavaliers vs. Thunder Prediction
The Cleveland Cavaliers have struggled for consistency of late, registering five wins and five losses in their past 10 games. However, it’s fair to say that Darius Garland has remained consistent despite his team’s up-and-down form.
Indeed, Garland has notched 20+ points in 10 of his previous 11 outings. Having reached the 30-point mark in two of the last six games, the Cleveland guard shouldn’t struggle to achieve over 21.5 points against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday.
Draymond Green – Over 6.5 Assists (-130)
Raptors vs. Warriors Prediction
When it comes to forwards, only three players have a better assists-per-game average than Draymond Green this season. The Golden State Warriors star has accumulated 292 assists across 43 outings, meaning he averages 6.8 assists per game in 2022-23.
Green has reached 7+ assists in each of his last five games, with 10 assists coming against the Washington Wizards last week. I fully expect him to record over 6.5 assists when the Warriors host the Toronto Raptors on Friday.
