NCAAB Over/Under Picks for Wednesday (March 2nd)

NCAAB Over/Under Picks for Wednesday (March 2nd)

Tonight’s college basketball schedule is a full one as teams near the end of their regular seasons. We’re not even to the madness yet and the upsets keep rolling in. Kansas lost to TCU, Purdue got beat by Wisconsin, and Nebraska upset No. 23 Ohio State last night.

The Over/Under record among all college games is still pretty close to 50 percent on either side. Where is the value tonight? Here are the top NCAAB Over/Under picks for Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

Auburn vs. Mississippi State

Auburn vs. Mississippi State Preview

PICK: OVER 140.5

Auburn hasn’t lost back-to-back games this season, but the Tigers have struggled on the road. All three defeats were away from home.

Mississippi State is 17-12 and does have some talent. A win over a team like Auburn would definitely help their NCAA tournament resume.

That said, slowing down Auburn will be difficult. In each of its 25 wins this season, the Tigers have scored at least 70 points. They average 79.1 and the Bulldogs put up 71.5 a game.

Auburn has won the last three straight and the average total of those three games is over 150. Five of the last six games in this series have gone Over.

Texas A&M vs. Alabama

Texas A&M vs. Alabama Preview

PICK: UNDER 153.5

The Aggies are on the bubble with an 18-11 record. Alabama has a slightly better record at 19-10, but they have a number of key wins that will likely put them in the NCAA tournament regardless of what they do in the SEC tourney.

The only way Texas A&M stays in this game is to slow it down. The Tide has the ninth-most efficient offense in the nation. The Aggies are better defensively than they are on the offensive end.

Texas A&M has won two of the last three games against the Tide and two of the three games went Under the total. None of those three totals was as high as the total tonight.

Connecticut vs. Creighton

UConn vs. Creighton Preview

PICK: UNDER 136

Both of these teams trend Over. The total has gone Over in 11 of UConn’s last 16 games and in four of the last six for Creighton.

The big issue for the Bluejays is their point guard. Ryan Nembhard suffered a wrist injury last week and is done for the season. In their first game without him, Creighton managed just 51 points and shot 19.2 percent from three-point range in a loss to Providence.

In the last four meetings between these two teams, Creighton has won all four. The average total for the four games is just 129.7. Both teams rank in the middle of the pack in tempo. Expect a slower-paced game that doesn’t reach the posted total.

Oklahoma State vs. Iowa State

Oklahoma State vs. Iowa State Preview

PICK: OVER 130.5

In each team’s last three games, both Iowa State and Oklahoma State have gone over their season average in points. Iowa State is averaging 77.7 per game while Oklahoma State is scoring 69.3.

Plus, the Cowboys have allowed an average of over 70 points per game in their last three. The total has gone Over in five of the Cyclones last six games. When the two teams met earlier this season, Iowa State won 84-81. This game goes Over too.
