With the opening week in the books, we now have a bit of data to help us win NFL teasers.
Last week, my teaser ended up losing, as the Eagles lost straight-up. I went 2-1, but with teasers you need to win every game. They may look easy, but that’s definitely not the case.

Carolina Panthers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 2 Picks
Spread: Panthers +8.5 / Tease: Panthers +14.5
Both of these NFC South rivals lost in week 1. The Panthers lost to the Raiders (34-30) and the Bucs lost to the Saints (34-23). With the spread at +8.5, this is a great game for 6-point teasers. Analyze the NFL week 2 betting lines for every game, along with the latest movement.
In the last three seasons, the Panthers are 4-2 SU against the Bucs. Sure, the Bucs have Tom Brady now, but after throwing 2 INTs in week 1, he was looking a bit like Jameis Winston.
Carolina are 6-1 ATS in the last seven H2H meetings in Tampa Bay and the underdog is 6-2 ATS in the last eight H2H games. The Panthers offense looked good in week 1 and will hang around this week.
Brady might get his first win as a Buc in the team’s home opener, but they won’t cover –14.5 points.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Indianapolis Colts Week 2 Picks
Spread: Vikings +3 / Tease: Vikings +9
Here’s an underdog I think will win SU in week 2, so I’ll definitely be teasing the Vikings to +9.
These two teams both lost in week 1 and they rarely play each other, so there are no H2H trends to analyze. However, based on week 1 performances, the Vikings should crush the Colts here.
The Vikings were beat up by a nearly perfect Aaron Rodgers (43-34 loss) last Sunday, but the Colts ended up losing to the Jaguars (27-20). The Vikings offense will have no problem scoring points.
I expect the Vikings defense to play better as well after the poor performance against GB.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers Week 2 Picks
Spread: Chiefs –9 / Tease: Chiefs –3
Will this be the favorite that costs me on my NFL teaser week 2? While it wouldn’t surprise me, KC should have no problem winning by more than a FG against the Chargers, even on the road.
The Chiefs looked great on TNF in week 1 – defeating the Texans (34-20). The Chargers were barely able to defeat the Bengals (16-13) and the LAC offense is going to struggle with Tyrod Taylor at QB.
KC are 5-1-1 ATS in the last seven H2H games and the road team is 12-3-1 ATS in the last 16 H2H games.
The Chiefs beat the Chargers 24-17 in LA last year and then won 31-21 at home.
