There are exciting match-ups everywhere you look on the schedule, with many of the league’s top players set to take to the ice. I have selected five picks from five different games to bring you the greatest betting value possible.

Connor McDavid – Over 0.5 Goals (-134)
Only Jason Robertson has scored more goals in the NHL than Connor McDavid this season. The Edmonton Oilers star has registered 19 goals across 24 games in 2022-23, cementing his team’s place in the playoff spots.
Better still, McDavid has scored in each of his previous three outings – punishing the Florida Panthers, Chicago Blackhawks and Minnesota Wild. That’s why I’m backing him to find the net when the Oliers host the Montreal Canadiens.
Nathan MacKinnon – Over 4.5 SOG (-106)
Nathan MacKinnon finds himself second on the SOG leaderboard, having racked up 115 shots in 21 games this season. As a result, “Nate the Great” averages 5.5 shots on goal in 2022-23.
The Colorado Avalanche man produced a phenomenal performance in Thursday’s 6-4 win against the Buffalo Sabres, recording eight SOG, three assists and two goals. I expect him to enjoy more success against the Boston Bruins on Saturday.
William Nylander – Over 0.5 Goals (+179)
Maple Leafs vs. Lightning Preview
The Toronto Maple Leafs head into Saturday’s clash against the Tampa Bay Lightning on a five-game winning streak. Only one team – the Seattle Kraken – boasts a longer winning streak at the moment.
William Nylander is Toronto’s leading goalscorer this season, having bagged 13 goals in 25 games. After finding the net in three consecutive games at the end of November, the 26-year-old will fancy his chances of grabbing a goal against Tampa Bay.
Erik Karlsson – Over 0.5 Assists (-114)
Only five players have registered more assists than Erik Karlsson throughout 2022-23. The Swede has been a bright spot in an otherwise difficult season for the San Jose Sharks, chipping in with 21 assists across 26 outings.
On Saturday, the Sharks have an excellent chance to return to winning ways when they face the struggling Ottawa Senators. With that in mind, I can see Karlsson grabbing another assist this weekend.
Mika Zibanejad – Over 3.5 SOG (-122)
Blackhawks vs. Rangers Preview
The New York Rangers will be confident of picking up their second victory in three games when they come up against the Chicago Blackhawks, who find themselves rock bottom of the Central Division following eight straight losses.
Mika Zibanejad will be licking his lips at the prospect of exploiting Chicago’s leaky defense. The Rangers star is one of only ten players to have chalked up 100+ SOG this season, so he should enjoy plenty of success on Saturday. Over 3.5 SOG looks like the best bet.
