If you want to enjoy some elite-level hockey and make a tasty profit in the process, be sure to join me as I go over five of the best NHL player props picks for Saturday.

Tim Stutzle – Over 0.5 Assists (-145)

Canadiens vs. Senators Predictions

The bottom two teams in the Atlantic Division face off on Saturday, as the Ottawa Senators host the Montreal Canadiens. While Ottawa heads into the showdown on a two-game winning streak, last-placed Montreal is on a two-game losing stretch.

The Senators secured a hugely impressive 6-2 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday, with Tim Stutzle grabbing two assists. Having racked up 10 assists across the past 10 games, Stutzle should enhance his tally against lowly Montreal.

NHL Odds

Mikko Rantanen – Over 0.5 Goals (-125)

Blues vs. Avalanche Predictions

Only two players – Connor McDavid and David Pastrnak – have scored more goals than Mikko Rantanen this season. The Finnish wizard has netted seven goals in his previous seven outings, taking his tally to 34 goals in 48 games in 2022-23.

Thanks largely to Rantanen’s exploits, the Avalanche have won six of their last seven games. On Friday, the Avalanche host the St. Louis Blues, who have suffered three straight losses, so I’m confident that Rantanen will find the net at Ball Arena.

Patrice Bergeron – Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (+100)

Bruins vs. Panthers Predictions

Not only have the Boston Bruins won six of their last seven games, but they have also won 10 of their previous 12. As a result, they find themselves at the summit of the Atlantic Division with best record in the entire league.

The Bruins next opponent are the Florida Panthers, who head into Friday’s clash on a three-game losing run. Boston’s Patrice Bergeron has notched 3+ shots on goal in seven of his last nine appearances, so I’m backing him to register over 3.5 SOG against struggling Florida.

NHL Picks

Sidney Crosby – Over 1.5 Points (+165)

Sharks vs. Penguins Predictions

Not so long ago, the Pittsburgh Penguins endured a six-game losing streak. Since then, however, they have picked up five wins in 10 games, meaning they currently find themselves fifth in the Metropolitan Division.

By contrast, the San Jose Sharks sit second from bottom in the Pacific Division following four successive losses. Given that Pittsburgh’s Sideny Crosby has chalked up 10 points across the previous six games, I can see him notching over 1.5 points against faltering San Jose.

Rasmus Dahlin – Over 0.5 Points (-200)

Sabres vs. Wild Predictions

Few would argue that Tage Thompson is not the star of the show for the Buffalo Sabres, but there is no hiding the fact that Swedish youngster Rasmus Dahlin has enjoyed a standout season up to now, contributing 55 points in 47 appearances.

Dahlin has recorded 11 points in his previous 10 outings, grabbing over 1.5 points on four occasions during that period. Having sealed five successive victories, Buffalo boasts the longest current winning streak in the NHL, so I’m backing them – and Dahlin – to enjoy success against the Minnesota Wild.
