Top Five NFL Player Props Picks for Thursday Night Football Week 7

Week seven has arrived, and the Thursday Night Football game should be very competitive. The Denver Broncos will travel to Cleveland to face the Browns. Denver and Cleveland are both coming off losses, so look for both teams to compete.

There is a value with the spread in this game, but player props are perfect for primetime football. Since there is only one game on, you can focus on the matchups and win big. Here are the top five NFL player props for Thursday Night Football.

Teddy Bridgewater Over 229.5 Passing Yards (-115)

Teddy Bridgewater throwing for 230 yards is nearly a lock in this game. The Browns have a tremendous defense, but they are dominant against the run. The team is still efficient with their passing defense, but Bridgewater must throw to win the game.

If the Broncos’ offensive line can protect him, it will be an efficient day for the quarterback. Bridgewater is coming off a game where he threw the ball 49 times for 334 yards.

Teddy Bridgewater Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (+120)

Teddy Bridgewater’s interception prop has a lot of value. However, the passing touchdown bet is superior, in my opinion. With Cleveland’s stout front seven, Bridgewater will be airing out the ball frequently.

Last week, the quarterback threw for three touchdowns and three interceptions. The Broncos are not afraid to have him take shots down the field. This is key when looking at a touchdown throwing prop bet.

Courtland Sutton Over 4.5 Receptions (-160)

For Bridgewater to shine in the pocket, his best receiver, Courtland Sutton, will need to play well. Sutton has been dominant throughout the 2021 season. He has exceeded this total four times in five games.

Last week, Bridgewater targeted him 14 times, and he caught eight passes. The Browns are good against the pass, but I see Denver attacking them in this area.

Expert NFL Predictions

D’Ernest Johnson Longest Rush Over 14.5 Yards (-115)

Baker Mayfield is questionable heading into this game, and Nick Chubb is out. I expect Mayfield to play, but Cleveland will likely not have him sit in the pocket and throw. Odell Beckham Jr. is questionable, and Jarvis Landry is on the IR.

This plays to the favor of D’Ernest Johnson going over 14.5 yards for his longest rush. He has only carried the ball three times this year, but he will headline the backfield this weekend. The Broncos have a strong rush defense, but they have not beat one good team.

We have not seen much from Johnson, but he can succeed if he gets into the open field. With the shaky Broncos defense, I like him going over this total.

Chase McLaughlin Over 1.5 Field Goals (-105)

The Browns are going to move the ball on the Broncos. The Raiders dominated their week six matchup against Denver. I expect similar results, especially if Mayfield plays. However, injuries could cause the Browns to flame out on potential touchdown drives.

This will bring the kicking unit onto the field. Chase McLaughlin will lead the charge. I like him to make two field goals on Thursday.
