Despite the early hat-trick, he’s third in the Premier League Golden Boot standings.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Son Heung-Min both lead the league with four goals.
Arsenal have looked good early as well – defeating Fulham (3-0) and West Ham United (2-1).
Alexandre Lacazette leads the team with two goals. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has netted a goal as well. If Arsenal can get both scorers producing this season, they could finish in the top four.

In the last two EPL campaigns, Liverpool are 2-1-1 with both wins coming at Anfield. In 2018, Liverpool won 5-1 at home and then last season they won 3-1 at home against Arsenal.
The home team has dominated this rivalry. The last time Arsenal were able to win at Anfield was way back in 2012. Since then, Liverpool are 5-2-0 at Anfield when playing Arsenal.
Despite how tempting Arsenal might look at 5/1 odds, I wouldn’t advise it.
Liverpool Will Win
There’s little doubt in my mind that Liverpool will win at home, but the odds aren’t worth betting them in the 1×2 market and I’m not sure an Asian handicap is the best bet in this match either.
Arsenal haven’t really been tested yet and that’s going to change on Monday.
If this match was being played at the Emirates Stadium, I’d consider the underdog, but they have shown no signs of life when playing at Anfield for nearly a decade.

My best bet in this match is on the over/under.
I’ll be betting on over 3 goals (-118), as that’s just too good of a line to pass up. Liverpool have been scoring a lot of goals already this season and they have scored eight goals in the last two H2H matches against Arsenal at Anfield. Liverpool could easily score three goals themselves.
Arsenal have looked strong upfront to start the season as well and after Liverpool allowed Leeds to score three goals, I can’t see Liverpool being able to keep a clean sheet against Arsenal.
