Saturday NCAA Football: Three Totals to Parlay

The college football regular season is coming to an end soon for most schools. Some of the most lucrative bets to place on college football are parlays.

With tons of betting options, you’re bound to find a parlay that has a great chance to hit. This Saturday has some massive late-season matchups, which turns my attention to totals bets.

College Football Week 14 Betting Lines

Here is my best three-leg total parlay for you to win this college football Saturday.

Indiana at Wisconsin Betting Preview

Parlay Pick #1: Under 45 Points (-115)

Indiana has been one of the best stories in college football this season. The Hoosiers are 5-1, and this is their last big test of the season against Wisconsin on the road.

Wisconsin has only played three games due to COVID-19 regulations. The Badgers’ only game against a ranked opponent resulted in a loss against now-No. 16 Northwestern 17-7.

Wisconsin has a juggernaut offense, but it only put up 17 points against Northwestern. The Wildcats have a better defense than Indiana, but Wisconsin won’t be able to move the ball with ease.

Indiana has been scoring 32 points per game. However, quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is out for the year after he suffered a leg injury last Saturday. Penix is the key to this offense scoring points.

Sophomore backup Jack Tuttle has only thrown 16 passes in his entire career. He has never thrown a touchdown.

Indiana is good, but it won’t be able to overcome Penix’s leg injury. This will result in the game going under 45.

Boston College at Virginia Betting Preview

Parlay Pick #2: Over 54 Points (-115)

A total of 54 is a generous over/under for Saturday’s matchup between Boston College and Virginia. These teams are a combined 11-7 on the over/under this season.

Both these teams know how to find the end zone. Boston College is averaging close to 28 points per game, while Virginia is averaging just over 31 points per game.

Each team has a fairly balanced attack through the air and on the ground. However, Virginia relies on the run slightly more than Boston College.

This game is going to go over because of the defensive units. The Achilles heel for each team has been their defenses this season. Boston College and Virginia are giving up over 400 yards and close to 30 points per game.

The Eagles really struggle against the run, so I can see the Cavaliers’ backfield having a huge afternoon. Virginia defends the run much better than the pass.

This is an area Boston College could manipulate. I love the over in this Saturday’s ACC matchup.

Alabama at LSU Betting Preview

Parlay Pick #3: Over 67.5 Points (-105)

There isn’t a whole lot of doubt about which team is going to win this game. Unlike in years past, the Tigers aren’t in the chase for much of anything this season, while the Crimson Tide are dominating all of their opponents.

But, can the two teams get over 67.5 points? We like Alabama to put up at least close to 50 in this one, as Nick Saban’s squad is averaging 48.5 points on the season already. And the Tide could very likely be motivated to avenge a loss to LSU last season.

Alabama’s defense is top-notch as well, though, allowing just 18.5 points per game. Taking the Tide’s averages, they’d finish just under the 67.5-point mark.

LSU is averaging 30.4 points this season, but it’s also allowing 30.3 points, which could make this one very ugly against the explosive Tide.

Still, we like both teams to give inspired efforts, making this one go over by a few points to spare.
