It's an AFC North match-up between two teams that love the rivalry. The Pittsburgh Steelers prepare to take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12 after losing to the Chargers. The truth is, the AFC North is still within the Steelers' grasp. They need a win here. If they can secure a win, they can get closer to taking down the Baltimore Ravens. If not, it could be out of reach.

The Cincinnati Bengals want to place their hat in the ring for a chance to rule the north. They're only a game behind the Ravens, and a win here would get them tied with Baltimore. The Bengals come off of a huge win over the Las Vegas Raiders. They'll look to continue their success against another AFC team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Let's take a look at the lines.

Steelers at Bengals Betting Trends and Preview

The Steelers' defense has been their downfall pretty much the whole season. For some reason, when they need them most, they can't deliver. That is exactly what happened when they faced the Chargers last week. All Pittsburgh needed was a stop; instead, they gave up a touchdown. They can't afford to make those mistakes against the Bengals on Sunday.

What we will say is that the Steelers did an incredible job on offense last week. We'd love to see them have that same performance when they face the Bengals. However, they need more than just offense to win the game at the end of the day. Unfortunately, Haden, Loudermilk, and Watt have all been ruled "out" for this game against Cincinnati.

The Bengals need this win just as much as the Steelers do, perhaps even more. They're right behind the Ravens, and a win will put them closer to taking over the AFC North. Last week, their offense was firing on all cylinders, but more impressive was their defense. They only allowed 13 points, a huge improvement from their previous game.

Getting their defense to back up their offense is a step in the right direction, to be sure. This week they'll need more help from their defense against the Steelers offense. If the Bengals can put pressure on Ben Roethlisberger, they should be just fine. The more pressure put on Big Ben, the better the chances are for the Bengals to create turnovers.

Steelers at Bengals Pick (Point Spread)

Steelers 27 - Bengals 34

In this one, you have two teams that desperately need a win. However, barring a tie, only one team can come out on top. The last time the Steelers faced the Bengals, they lost 24-10. In that game, the Steelers had the advantage of playing at home. This time they're on the road, giving the Bengals the advantage.

Cincinnati only needs to cover 3.5-points, which isn't very much. They have a 5-5 record against the spread and a 2-2 record at home. With such a small spread and how they played against the Raiders, we'll take the Bengals to win here.

1. The Steelers are 3-6 ATS in their last nine games.

2. The Steelers are 4-6 against the spread this season.

3. On average, the Steelers allow 126.60 rushing yards per game.

Best Bet: Cincinnati Bengals -3.5

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals Recap NOV 28TH 2021

Proving the first meeting this season wasn't a fluke, the Cincinnati Bengals walloped the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers 41-10 Sunday afternoon behind a career day by Joe Mixon.

Mixon rushed for a career-high 165 yards and punched in a pair of 1-yard touchdowns as the Bengals (7-4) swept the regular-season series from the Steelers (5-5-1) for the first time since 2009.

Cincinnati has won three straight against their AFC North rivals, their longest streak since winning six in a row from 1988-90.

Joe Burrow completed 20 of 24 for 190 yards with a touchdown and an interception and Tee Higgins hauled in six catches for 114 yards and a TD. Mixon has scored at least one TD in eight straight games for Cincinnati, which scored on its first four possessions and never looked back.

Pittsburgh's Ben Roethlisberger completed 24 of 41 passes for 263 yards and a touchdown, but was also guilty of three turnovers. His two first-half interceptions led to 10 Cincinnati points, and the Bengals added a touchdown off his third-quarter fumble. Roethlisberger was sacked three times.

The Bengals started in rhythm and never faltered. Burrow scored on an 8-yard scramble to cap the game's first series for a 7-0 lead. Eli Apple returned Roethlisberger's interception to the 5-yard line, and Evan McPherson added a 31-yard field goal for a 10-0 lead less than nine minutes in.

Pittsburgh got on the board with Chris Boswell's 40-yard field goal, but the Bengals answered quickly with Burrow finding Higgins for a 32-yard touchdown and a 17-3 lead with 14:15 left in the half.

Mixon's 1-yard plunge made it 24-3 and gave Cincinnati scores on nine straight offensive possessions dating back to last week. Mike Hilton picked off Roethlisberger in the flat, and returned it 24 yards for a touchdown with just 30 seconds left in the half and a 31-3 lead at the break.

McPherson added a 51-yard field goal in the third quarter, and Mixon scored again from the one with 13:10 remaining to make it 41-3.

Pittsburgh avoided the worst margin of defeat in the series when Roethlisberger hit Pat Freiermuth with a 15-yard touchdown with 2:59 left.
