About Scores and Stats

Scores and Stats publishes sports odds, game predictions and betting guides for the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, WNBA, college football and basketball, soccer, tennis, golf, UFC and NASCAR. We are not a sportsbook: you cannot place a bet with us, and we never hold anyone’s money.

What the site does

The site does two things. It shows you the numbers: lines, odds and team data, updated as they move. And it explains them, in predictions written ahead of individual games and in guides to how betting markets work, from the point spread to futures.

We also review sportsbooks and handicapping services, so readers can compare them before signing up.

What we are not

We are not a sportsbook, and we do not take bets or deposits of any kind.

We do not sell picks, and nothing we publish is a guarantee. A prediction is our opinion at the time it was written. Results are uncertain, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.

How the site is written

Predictions and guides are written by our editorial team, working from the same market data the site displays. Some routine game pages are assembled from a data feed and form part of our syndicated coverage rather than our written analysis.

How we make money

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you open an account with a sportsbook or a picks service through one of them, we may be paid a commission. It costs you nothing, and it does not change what we write.

Betting responsibly

Betting should be entertainment, and only ever with money you can afford to lose. If it has stopped being fun, stop and get support: free, confidential help is available in most countries, and your local regulator’s website will point you to it.
