Our Copa Libertadores predictions cover selected games from the 2026 knockout rounds, and each one names our pick for the game. The three published so far, all by Keylor Santos, were for quarterfinal second legs from 15 to 17 September.
The semifinals are next. Palmeiras play Fluminense and Flamengo play Estudiantes de La Plata, with first legs on 14 and 15 October and the final in Montevideo on 28 November.

Flamengo beat Palmeiras 1-0 in the 2025 final at the Estadio Monumental de Lima on 29 November 2025.
Both of last year’s finalists are in this year’s semifinals, in separate ties. They can only meet again in the final.
How Copa Libertadores betting works here
Each leg is bet on its own. The three-way moneyline is home win, draw or away win, settled on the score after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, so a bet on either club loses when the leg is level. Flamengo’s 1-1 at home to Independiente del Valle on 17 September paid only the draw, even though Flamengo went through.
That is the difference a “to qualify” bet makes. It is on which club wins the tie, counting both legs and whatever decides it after the second one. Palmeiras lost 3-2 at Liga de Quito on 16 September and still went through, 4-3 on penalties.
The Asian handicap takes the draw away from a single leg: at -1.5 the favorite must win by two or more, and at -1 a one-goal win refunds your stake. The total is the number of goals in the leg, over or under a line such as 2.5. The final on 28 November is one game, so it has no aggregate.
