Delaware is 2-1. It beat Merrimack 42-7, a team outside the FBS, lost at Vanderbilt, and beat Coastal Carolina 22-14 at home on 19 September. Against FBS teams it has scored 24.0 a game and allowed 24.5.
Last season
Virginia went 11-3 in 2025 and won by 11.2 points a game, finishing with a 13-7 win over Missouri on 27 December. Delaware went 7-6 and was outscored by 2.0 a game. It went 1-5 on the road and won its bowl game 20-13 over Louisiana on 17 December.
