Game Preview – Delaware @ BYU
The BYU Cougars look to continue their early-season dominance when they host the Delaware Blue Hens on Tuesday night in Provo, Utah.
Ranked No. 7 nationally, BYU (2-0) is coming off a near-flawless offensive showing in a 98-53 rout of Holy Cross, extending its nonconference home winning streak to 21 games. The Cougars shot 61.9% from the field, scored 62 points in the paint, and committed only six turnovers in the blowout.

Delaware (0-2) enters the matchup reeling from a 71-62 home loss to Division II Wilmington (Del.) after dropping its opener to Bucknell. The Blue Hens committed 16 turnovers and shot just 12.5% (3-of-24) from three-point range against Wilmington, failing to sustain offensive rhythm.
Virginia transfer Christian Bliss led Delaware with 13 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds, while forward Macon Emory posted his second consecutive double-double (11 points, 14 rebounds). However, head coach Martin Ingelsby’s team remains short-handed, with five players sidelined due to injury.
“We’re just trying to figure out who we are and have an identity,” Ingelsby said. “When adversity hit, we didn’t know how to respond.”
