The Aces (27-14) enter this matchup looking like the league’s hottest team, fueled by MVP candidate A’ja Wilson. Chicago (10-31), already eliminated from playoff contention, continues to spiral and will be without star Angel Reese for the first half of Sunday’s game due to suspension.

Aces Can Win If…
Las Vegas looks unstoppable. Their 97-87 win over Minnesota on Thursday avenged one of their worst losses in franchise history and showcased their balance—shooting 55.1 percent from the field with 25 assists.
A’ja Wilson continues to dominate, averaging 27.2 points and 12.1 rebounds during the 13-game streak. Her 31-point outing against Minnesota reaffirmed her MVP case.
“Even though we were losing games, I told them multiple times, ‘We’re so close to turning that corner. And once that corner is turned, it’s going to be scary,’” head coach Becky Hammon said.
If Wilson maintains her elite play and Las Vegas keeps sharing the ball, the streak will hit 14.
Sky Can Win If…
Chicago’s slim hopes rest on Kamilla Cardoso and Michaela Onyenwere, who combined for 36 points in Friday’s loss to Indiana. Without Reese for the first half, however, the Sky face an uphill climb against the Aces’ frontcourt.
Head coach Tyler Marsh acknowledged the tough situation:
“It was from the top down. It was an organizational decision,” Marsh said of Reese’s suspension.
If Chicago can get hot from beyond the arc and slow down Wilson inside, they can at least keep it close.
