While the Indianapolis Colts are putting their best foot forward, the Detroit Lions are being hounded for where Ndamukong Suh placed his foot on Thanksgiving. Teams headed in the opposite direction will meet in the Motor City on Sunday as the Colts vie for their sixth victory in seven games. Top overall pick Andrew Luck kept Indianapolis in the thick of the postseason talk with a 20-13 triumph over Buffalo last week.

The Lions suffered their third straight loss with a 34-31 overtime setback to Houston on Nov. 22, but the talk resonating from the game centered around the intent of Suh's kick to the groin of quarterback Matt Schaub. Commissioner Roger Goodell elected not to suspend the mammoth defensive tackle, but the league issued a $30,000 fine instead. Suh will be on the field as Detroit looks to keep its flickering postseason hopes alive.

ABOUT THE COLTS (7-4): Interim coach Bruce Arians has won six of eight contests while filling in for Chuck Pagano, who is undergoing chemotherapy treatments after being diagnosed with a form of leukemia. Luck has been a significant reason for the Colts' success. He has thrown for 3,205 yards - the most by a rookie through his team's first 11 games - while also leading all AFC quarterbacks in rushing yards (183) and rushing scores (five).

ABOUT THE LIONS (4-7): Calvin Johnson has erupted for 32 catches for 619 yards and three touchdowns in his last four games. The All-Pro wideout enters Week 13 with an NFL-best 1,257 receiving yards. Johnson will likely be flanked by rookie Ryan Broyles, who made the most of Titus Young's benching with a season-high 126 yards. Young remained on the sideline after what coach Jim Schwartz termed "unacceptable behavior."

1. Indianapolis has won five of the last seven meetings with Detroit, although the clubs haven't squared off since Dec. 14, 2008. Reggie Wayne had 104 yards receiving as the Colts posted a 31-21 triumph in that encounter.

2. Detroit RB Mikel Leshoure has five rushing touchdowns in his last four contests.

3. Indianapolis rookie T.Y. Hilton has collected four touchdowns in his last two contests (three receiving, one punt return).
