Quarterback Brendan Sorsby struggled to connect downfield, finishing with one costly red-zone interception in the final minute. Head coach Scott Satterfield stressed the need for better execution on one-on-one matchups and getting playmakers into space.
“Our guys are going to be challenged Saturday, and they got to get loose. They got to win some one-on-one matchups, and they got to go make plays,” Satterfield said.
If Sorsby can find rhythm early and the receivers deliver, Cincinnati has the tools to get back on track.

The Falcons are building confidence under first-year coach Eddie George, who earned his debut victory in Week 1. Bowling Green’s special teams provided an early spark with Cameron Pettaway’s 98-yard kickoff return touchdown — the second straight season the Falcons have opened with such a play.
“First and foremost, it’s a great opportunity to coach these guys,” George said. “I’m excited about where we can grow. It’s a great starting point.”
