This season, Mahomes has thrown for nearly 600 yards and seven touchdowns. Perhaps the most impressive feat is that he hasn’t turned the ball over once. Averaging 35.5 points per game, the Chiefs are well-equipped to win this game, regardless of them being on the road.

One way they can beat the Colts is by putting pressure on Matt Ryan. Ryan has never been a mobile quarterback and age definitely hasn’t helped him. Putting a few bodies on Ryan will help them pull off a win on the road. The truth is, the Colts offense can’t keep up with the Chiefs.

The Colts started the season with a 20-20 tie to the Houston Texans. They followed it up with a 24-0 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. There are a few people that you could blame this game on, but mainly, it’s Matt Ryan. Instead of protecting the football, he turned it over several times.

Last week, Ryan went 16/30 with 195 yards and three interceptions. They failed to score a single point and the offense had the ball for only 21:45. This awful performance will likely extend into week 3 as they face the Chiefs. The question now is can they cover the spread at home?

In order to make this game competitive, the Chiefs will need to slow down the Chiefs' offense. They can start by shutting down the passing game of Kansas City. Putting pressure on Mahomes will help, but they’ll need to do a lot more than just blitz.
