The Los Angeles Rams take on their next opponent in Week 6, the New York Giants. After their loss in Week 4, they bounced back against the Seattle Seahawks. They’ll look to bring the same momentum when they take on the Giants. The Rams have to play just as hard against the Giants and should be sure to not underestimate them.

The New York Giants need a win, desperately, especially after their loss to the Cowboys. However, this game against the Rams will likely be their toughest yet. Beating the Rams is no easy task and the Giants don’t have the best history against them. New York will have to pull out all the stops to get a win on Sunday.

Los Angeles Rams vs. New York Giants Week 6 Preview

The Rams have one of the best offenses in the entire NFL and it’ll be on display Sunday. The Giants have had trouble against strong offenses, and Week 6 will be no different. Los Angeles will be able to drive down the field frequently and rack up a lot of points. When taking into account the spread the Rams will have to cover, this is good news for bettors.

The Rams defense will need to do their share as well, keeping the Giants off the scoreboard. New York has scored well and caught opponents off guard, so the Rams need to be mindful. If not, the Giants could shock them and more importantly, keep this game close. That being said, the Rams offense should be able to put the Giants away.

If the Giants want to win this one it’ll take a lot of grit and determination. More importantly, they’ll need to find a way to control the flow of the game. The last thing they’ll want to do is start a shootout with the Rams. Running the ball should be the focus to start the game, with simple passes to get Daniel Jones started.

From there, it’ll be about stopping the big plays downfield. The Rams are great with taking deep shots, but the Giants can’t allow that. They’ll need to put a lot of pressure on Matthew Stafford as well, which isn’t an easy task.

Rams vs. Giants Point Spread Prediction

Rams 30 - Giants 17

Although the Giants could take this game away from the Rams, they’ll need the perfect game plan. Unfortunately, games don’t always go as planned, which will benefit the Rams. The Giants have the benefit of being at home, but that won’t matter much against the Rams offense.

Expect the Rams to have an incredible outing yet again when they face the Giants. The ten-point spread shouldn’t be too hard for them either. If you take into account the Rams defense, they shouldn’t have a problem covering the spread.

Extra Points

1. The Rams are 2-1 in their last three games against the New York Giants.

2. The Rams average over 310 passing yards per game.

3. Neither of these teams averages over 30 minutes of the time of possession.

Best Bet: Los Angeles Rams -10.5

Los Angeles Rams vs. New York Giants Recap OCT 17TH 2021

Matthew Stafford threw three touchdown passes during a dominating second quarter and the Los Angeles Rams remained undefeated on the road with a 38-11 victory Sunday over the New York Giants in East Rutherford, N.J.

Stafford was 22-of-28 passing on the day for 251 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. He threw second-quarter scores to Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp and Darrell Henderson Jr. as the Rams (5-1) turned an early deficit into a 28-3 halftime lead.

Henderson had 78 yards rushing on 21 carries and added a rushing touchdown during the second quarter, when the Los Angeles defense also forced three of four Giants turnovers.

Giants quarterback Daniel Jones was 29-of-51 passing for 242 yards and three interceptions after spending the week recovering from a concussion last weekend at Dallas. Jones also lost a fumble in his first-career four-turnover game.

Jones was missing wide receiver Kadarius Toney (ankle), who left during the Giants' opening drive and did not return.

The Giants (1-5) were held to just 156 net yards through three quarters, with Rams safety Taylor Rapp intercepting a pair of Jones passes and the Los Angeles defense recording four sacks. The Giants' Xavier McKinney had two interceptions.

The Giants looked like the dominating team early, going 73 yards on their opening drive and getting a 27-yard field goal from Graham Gano.

After the Rams' first two drives of the day ended in punts, they found their stride. A 66-yard second-quarter drive ended with a 15-yard Woods TD catch and gave Los Angeles the lead for good at 7-3.

A 3-yard TD catch by Kupp on fourth down made it 14-3 following a Jones fumble at New York's 12-yard line. That was followed by Rapp's first interception to give the Rams another short field. They took advantage with a 14-yard drive capped by a 2-yard TD run from Henderson.

The Rams finished off their second-quarter scoring 33 seconds before halftime when Stafford threw a 25-yard TD pass to Henderson, completing a 73-yard drive for a 28-3 lead.

Kupp added a second TD reception with a 13-yard catch-and-run in the fourth quarter. Kupp finished with nine receptions for 130 yards.

The Giants finally reached the end zone with 6:21 remaining on a 4-yard run from Elijhaa Penny.

The Rams are 3-0 on the road.
