Red Bulls Seek Rare 4-Game Win Streak in Clash vs. Austin FC
The New York Red Bulls aim to achieve something they haven’t done since 2021 — win four consecutive matches. To do so, they’ll need to overcome a shaky road record when they visit Austin FC on Saturday night in an interconference showdown.
Riding a season-best three-game winning streak and an eight-match unbeaten run against Western Conference opponents, New York is hoping to keep momentum alive away from home, where they’ve struggled mightily this season.
“I’m very proud of the whole group in that we are going all together in the same direction,” Red Bulls coach Sandro Schwarz said. “And also when you have some difficult moments in the season, which is normal, and that we have been able to answer directly in the way how we want to play.”

Red Bulls Hot at Home, But Need Road Results
The Red Bulls (8-6-3, 27 points) were off last weekend, but last played on May 31, defeating Atlanta United 2-0 at home. Cameron Harper opened the scoring in just the third minute — the fastest goal of the Red Bulls’ season — and later assisted Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting’s insurance goal.
While they’ve impressed at Red Bull Arena, New York’s road form remains an issue. They’re just 1-5-2 away from home and will need to flip the script if they want to continue their surge in the standings.
Austin Hoping to Build Off Colorado Win
Austin FC (6-7-5, 23 points) returned to the win column with a 2-0 victory at Colorado last weekend, snapping an eight-match winless skid (0-4-4). The match featured five saves from veteran goalkeeper Brad Stuver, an own goal by Colorado, and Mikkel Desler’s first MLS goal.
It marked Austin’s first league win since April 19, and head coach Nico Estevez believes his side is trending in the right direction.
“If we have the mindset that we are building something right towards the end of the season, we can be successful,” Estevez said. “We have more quality than we’ve shown this year, and I think our players took that personally. We showed identity with and without the ball (against Colorado).”
A Pivotal Matchup in Playoff Race
As the playoff race heats up, both teams have plenty on the line. New York is pushing for upper-tier positioning in the East, while Austin is trying to climb out of mid-table uncertainty in the West.
With form and motivation on both sides, Saturday’s clash offers prime value for those tracking MLS predictions and Soccer betting picks going into a crucial stage of the season.
