The Eagles embarrassed Kansas City last February with a 40-22 win, ending the Chiefs’ three-peat dream. Now Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid get another shot at Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni, in a matchup that feels like playoff football even in Week 2.
Mahomes, Hurts, and the QB Showdown
Patrick Mahomes didn’t look like himself in the opener against the Chargers in Brazil, where Kansas City fell 27-21. He still owns a sparkling 39-11 record since 2022, but the Chiefs need sharper execution to avoid their first 0-2 start since 2014.
On the other side, Jalen Hurts is rolling again. He’s now 38-10 as a starter, and his ability to extend plays gives Philly one of the most dangerous offenses in the league.
