The British Grand Prix has been a staple in Formula One for more than 70 years, and Silverstone Circuit has been an iconic venue to hold this race each season. Last year’s race was an exciting one that included a costly crash and ended with a victory for Lewis Hamilton.

Although his record in England is quite impressive, his racing this season has not been so exciting. Respectfully, the greatest driver in F1 history is struggling this year.
Mercedes has built a less-than-ideal car, and it has really shown this season. That being said, Hamilton and his teammate George Russell have looked decidedly better in the last three races. Could Mercedes be making a turn and challenge for a race win this weekend at Silverstone?
Red Bull Hopes to Continue its Dominance in England
As we enter this race, it should be noted that Red Bull sits in first place with over 300 points in the Constructors Championship standings. This is important because they are hoping to win this race for the first time since 2012 and distance themselves from the pack in the team standings.
The season could not be going any better for Red Bull as they have already won seven of nine races this year and have at least one driver on the podium in every race this year besides the very first.
Red Bull as a team can continue its dominance with a win for Verstappen with a podium by Perez. Right now, on most sportsbooks, Verstappen to win is -110, and Perez to finish on the podium is also -110.

Were it not for a crash with Hamilton, Verstappen probably would have won that race, and I expect him to come out for revenge this year.
