The NFL season is winding down, but we still have many bets to win. The Conference Championships are either going to be really good or bad. There will be no in-betweens with these games. The matchups seem somewhat lopsided on paper, but this does not mean games will not be competitive.
This is an excellent reason to hammer out some game props. Game props are great because we can bet on a team’s performance without picking a winner.
Here are my best NFL game props for the Conference Championship games.
Bengals Over 2.5 Touchdowns
The Cincinnati Bengals beat the Chiefs in Week 17. This game was in Cincinnati, so it will be a tall task to repeat at Arrowhead Stadium. Yet, I still believe the Bengals will be competitive and score points.
This team is expected to throw the ball downfield, equating to touchdowns. Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins should have huge days. I think they each find the endzone.
The way the Bengals and Chiefs play football, this total should be easy to hit. The better offense will win this game on Sunday.
Chiefs Total Points Over 31.5
When the Chiefs lost to the Bengals in Week 17, they scored 31 points. This bet is a slight risk, but the Chiefs can score. I am more confident in Kansas City putting up points than Cincinnati. Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs 60 yards in 13 seconds last week against the Bills.
Any offense that is this explosive makes me fear the under. I have no choice but to take the over when it comes to Patrick Mahomes.
49ers Total Points Under 20.5
I really like the 49ers to win on Sunday, but definitely to cover. For the Niners to win this game, they need to keep the score down. San Francisco beat the Packers last week without scoring an offensive touchdown.
San Francisco is best when they run the ball and control the clock. The Niners need to make this happen on Sunday to win. This does not equate to a lot of points.
This bet is also protected with a dominant Rams victory. If Los Angeles gets going, the Niners will also not score a lot of points.
Bengals vs Chiefs Game to be Tied Again After 0-0
I think this bet is going to be a great one. The Bengals need to stay in the game and match the Chiefs. I think they make this happen by throwing the ball. Based on the amount of projected scoring, I like there to be a second tie in this matchup.
Both teams throw the ball downfield. They have lots of chances to lock up scores.
Bengals vs Chiefs Total 3rd Down Conversions Over 11.5
The Bengals and Chiefs are going to score a lot of points. Each team is also very efficient on third down. The matchups in this game make the over likely for third-down conversions.
The Chiefs and Bills combined for 14 third-down conversions last week. The Chiefs may have to control this total, but I still like the over.
