Four NBA Totals To Look at for Wednesday’s Action

Wednesday is expected to be another busy night in the NBA, though the full slate of games is not going to happen as proceeded. The Celtics are still short-handed to the point of being unable to play, so Boston and Orlando will not meet. The Wizards have the same problem, so their game with the Jazz has been postponed as well.

There is still plenty of action, though, so make sure that you bet the over on the following games.

Milwaukee Bucks at Detroit Pistons Picks

With the exception of their game in Cleveland on Saturday, the Bucks have been running up the score on their opponents. They are a highly effective offensive unit, with Milwaukee scoring over 125 points in several games this year. The Bucks also broke the record with 29 three-pointers made in a single contest.

Detroit, on the other hand, is banged up and hasn’t been very good, though its offense is pretty solid. Led by Jerami Grant, the Pistons have done a nice job of putting points on the board.

It’s almost a brand-new team as compared to last season, so this was expected. They’ve got some great three-point shooters who can step in and get hot.

The over/under is set at 228.5, which can be met with Detroit going just a little over what its nightly average is. Bet it. No doubt.

Dallas Mavericks at Charlotte Hornets Picks

The Mavericks’ last game wasn’t played as scheduled, but they will return to action to face off with the Hornets. They’ll get a significant boost with Kristaps Porzingis finally returning to the floor.

He will provide instant offense, and his rim protection will lead to some additional offensive opportunities. The perimeter shooting of the Mavericks makes them a high-scoring bunch.

Charlotte is actually playing really good ball. The offense is as fluid as we have seen in a number of years.

Gordon Hayward leads the NBA in fourth-quarter points, with Terry Rozier not too far behind. The two of them, plus LaMelo Ball, Devonte Graham and PJ Washington, have Charlotte beating opponents with beautiful offense.

The over/under is a meager 217.5 points. Betting the over on this total is going to net an easy win.

Memphis Grizzlies at Minnesota Timberwolves Picks

Watching this game is not highly recommended, with Minnesota struggling to beat anybody and Memphis still without its stars, Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. The Grizzlies do come in off a win over the Cavs on Monday, but it was ugly.

They are able to score thanks to the shooting ability of their perimeter guys and Jonas Valanciunas inside.

Minnesota is a horrid defensive team but can sometimes stay competitive with a high success rate from distance. Malik Beasley and D’Angelo Russell make sure the Timberwolves don’t get blown out every game, but with Karl-Anthony Towns shuffling in and out of the lineup, it’s been a bit tough.

The over/under for this one is set at 219.5, a very manageable figure given the state of each club. Bet the over. It’s doable.

How to Bet on NBA Player Props

Atlanta Hawks at Phoenix Suns Picks

The Hawks are without both Danilo Gallinari and Bogdan Bogdanovic, two guys that they splurged on this past offseason. Neither has played a big role this season, constantly shuffling in and out of the lineup.

But Atlanta has got a lot of offensive talent with the likes of John Collins and Trae Young leading the way. The Hawks can fill it up.

Phoenix has built off its 8-0 run in the bubble last season by going 7-4 to begin 2020-21. We saw a breakout performance from Mikal Bridges against Indiana the other night as he scored 34 points.

With Devin Booker and Chris Paul leading the way, the Suns will continue to play well. The playoffs are likely for Phoenix, which hasn’t made it to the postseason since 2010.

The over/under in this game is a little high at 228.5, but both teams have several guys who can fill it up. So, bet the over.
