The NBA season is coming down to the wire. There have been multiple teams that have established themselves as champions.
There are also teams that have shown they do not have a shot in the postseason. The teams we are looking to bet are the ones that win on a regular basis.
The Wednesday slate is epic, so let’s break down some of the games. Here are my best NBA bets for Wednesday, March 16!
Denver Nuggets vs. Washington Wizards
Best Bet: Nuggets -5.5
Road favorites in the NBA do not cover as frequently as home favorites. However, this line is too juicy not to hammer.
The Nuggets will travel to Washington to face the struggling Wizards. Washington is not a good basketball team at 29-38 on the season.
Denver has been much better this season. The team will enter this game with a 41-28 record.
Kyle Kuzma is the team’s only chance to make something special happen on Wednesday. However, I do not believe this is very likely.
The Wizards have not risen to the occasion much this season. They are also 3-7 SU in their past ten and riding a four-game losing streak.
They will have to battle Nikola Jokic. The Nuggets have some injuries, but Denver is still superior.
Jokic is good enough to win games without much help. The Nuggets are also 7-3 SU in their past ten games.
I see this happening again on Wednesday. I would hammer this juicy -5.5 spread.
Atlanta Hawks vs. Charlotte Hornets
Best Bet: Hornets -1.5
The Atlanta Hawks and Charlotte Hornets are very similar teams. They both have young stars with a ton of talent.
Although, they are not consistent, and this hurts winning chances. I like the Hornets to cover the spread on Wednesday.
The reason I am high on the Hornets is because they have been great ATS this season. They have a 37-30-2 ATS record on the year and are laying 1.5 in this game. Miles Bridges and LaMelo Ball are the two players to watch for Charlotte.
They have done a great job making plays this season, along with Terry Rozier. Rozier is the veteran presence leading the young players. Additionally, the Hornets are much hotter than the Hawks at this point in the season.
Atlanta is 0-6 ATS in their last six games. In their past six, Charlotte is 4-2 ATS, so the advantage goes with the Hornets.
Philadelphia 76ers vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
Best Bet: 76ers -4
The Philadelphia 76ers are the new favorites to come out of the Eastern Conference. They are led by Joel Embiid and James Harden. The addition of Harden has added a new dimension to this team, and it’s very fun to watch.
The Cavaliers at +4 seems like a great bet in this game, but they have been struggling. They are 4-8 ATS in their past 12 games.
The 76ers are beatable, but they have the hot hand. The team is 7-3 SU in their past ten games.
You should look for Embiid to lead his team to a cover on Wednesday.
